Resignation effective immediately?
Sure, she resigned. She was the last C level leftover. She had a target on her back since day one. Of course she sold her soul to stay on, so no great loss. I hope you land hard Jen.

It don’t matter why she left. It’s her business . I don’t blame her one bit. I would have left that bunch of id–ts too. And as for selling her stock at the beginning of the pandemic? That too is her business. Not sure why your giving her c-ap for leaving as the last time I checked the is the Good Ole U S of A. Which by definition is a free country. Now if you believe that I got some Gulf front property in Arizona I would love to make you a great deal on. But chill and leave her alone. She is obviously a very intelligent woman to have gotten that many ducks in a row and all quacking in rhythm. My guess would be there’s a little jealousy behind your bloodshot eyes.
Say what you will. I know Jennifer from her Towers Perrin days. She is a class act. End of story.
You can’t just train a bunch of associates to drive deliver trucks, rental or not. They have to go get a semi- physical and added to the company’s liability insurance as well as issue additional fleet and tow cards for fuel, tolls, etc... it takes forever to replace a card as is. Now, they already use 3rd party delivery for overflow in most markets, they could possibly expand that. The curbside only is the right idea, but sterling and the website is absolute c-ap. No way they hold if all our sales go through that exclusively, they barely make it through an actual Black Friday. It’s just a cluster
She got fired because she was probably fighting to close the stores to customers like other companies. There is no reason why Lowe’s can’t do BOPUIS (buy online, pick up in store), or pull up outside like Sam’s. If you’re fridge or other appliance dies, you need a light bulb, window breaks, need wood, etc. – same thing, or get it delivered and installed.
Lowe’s can get rental trucks and train employees to drive and deliver. I’ll bet everything I have that Jennifer Weber was doing her job as an HR manager and trying to do the right thing for the employees. She was probably told, “since you’re not being part of the team…” I was an HRM there, trust me, she fought for you!
I’m betting her replacement will be Janice Little Marvin’s chief diversity officer. She’ll add the HR duties for more money. The announcement for Weber’s departure mentions little and her 15 years HR experience.
Her replacement will be Marvin’s total YES person! Things for the hourly folks will get much worse, much faster now.
The reason she’s gone is she resisted many of Marv’s hatchet plans. Wait until Benefits Enrollment this year! If you’re still here???
She’ll land real hard on top of all that cash she just raked in. There’s so many smart people on here
Land hard? Lol. She sold off $1 million in stock then got another 2.5 on the way out the door. She landed just fine
That would be so sweet, 100k a month for two years, Marvin should give all of us that stayed and enabled him to keep the stores open that as a bonus.
Marvin bought the stock cause he is greedy and wants all da money for hiself.
She probably got out and got severance to be quiet. Lawsuits coming likely
No, she got canned for dumping $1.3million in Lowes stock just as the pandemic was heating up. Marvin actually purchased 1 million in stocks to off set her stupidity.
Old News.,...she is doing better then us with e 2 5 buyout.
