I work in a location where communication lacks between management. Apparently there are webinars tomorrow. Not asking where you are from, but if you got an invite can you comment your position? Just trying to get an idea of who is getting updates and who is not. Thanks!

All of Orlando location managers are laid off but a few (they said it was based on performance) i almost came through the phone and socked them in the f—ing face i have my all to hertz and they basically screwed me. Package was offered car is going back in two weeks hope this company tanks and I’m signed my class action lawsuit #hertzdoesntgetyouanywhere

The severance is basically
1-2 years = 2 weeks pay
2-3 = 3
3-4 = 4
4-5 = 5
5-6 = 6
Etc

Layoffs by Webinar!!! So unprofessional! Just an FYI go work for their competitors....it’s all over the stock news! Hertz doesn’t have good asset management and their competitors do way better! This company will most likely tank after this.

Severance is based on how long you have been working/position. Sending you to a website in order to fill out paperwork. Much of Marketing seems to have been gutted, not so sure of other departments. Good luck to everyone.

If you've been at Hertz for two years or less, 2 weeks of severance. Then goes up from there ,the max is 11 years or more , which is 11 weeks pay out.

Yep it’s happening today. I’m in the Account Rep division (Customer Care). A lot of us are done too. My guess is all of Off-Airport is in serious trouble.

Ok listen up all! Screw all the Managers at any Hertz locations across the US. They are all lying to us. Today, they let more employees go keeping all "worthless" managment to do what? Sit at their desk and j–koff or finger themselves?
They lied and told us some things that we backed up by calling ASK HR. They are covering their asses so they don't have to work the counter. They can hide in their offices and do the above as mentioned. You all need to wake up and just say bye bye the this shot hole company. Paul Stone is making 1.8 million a year still plus bonuses. This does not include that blonde lesbian what she makes.
Do not trust anyone at Hertz. They are such losers and such dirty people. Contact your local Representatives and tell them Hertz is doing away with Furloughs and FIRING people and this all means, they will FIGHT your unemployment!

I work at corporate and was laid off. No mention of webinar, but am supposed to get official email with more info. Corporation is very management/director/upper management heavy, wonder if any of these were consolidated?

My understanding is these webinars are with your direct management (or someone above them if they were furloughed). The webinars are unique to your workgroup and information on the webinar is not to be forwarded.

I had webinar today along with about 100 people. All were told their jobs were eliminated. From what I can tell all corporate. Hertz does want to keep paying benefits. Good luck everyone, it's going to get alot worse. The department I worked in was looking at all of are leases to see which could go
