On a serious note, isn't is so very telling that the company was willing to lay off a whole bunch of employees before even considering cutting the dividend? Talk about not giving a damn about your employees...
They are not making a profit when both their EPS and P/E is negative. HAL will need to become a growth rather than a value fund to survive this calamity.
You don't have shareholders without employees to generate revenue. Don't forget that your employees are shareholders too.
You can't have it both ways. You can't b–ch that HAL isn't touching the dividend, and then a few days later b–ch that they are.
Good for employees bad for the shareholders (owners).
