Has anyone that was furloughed had any luck with unemployment? Been putting in claims but they all say Hold. Cant get through to anyone have to leave a message and they will call u.

In NY. I applied on the 6th. It took about an hour for something that should have taken 10 minutes because it kept timing out and I had to start all over. They said it's a 3 week waiting period, but I got my first check yesterday.
I’m in CT. Our DOL is reporting a 6 week backlog, because their systems aren’t automated and everything has to be done by hand. Plus, they received more applications in 3 weeks than they usually do in 2 years. So, yeah, I’m not even processed yet. Good thing I have some savings.
I'm in Texas, I applied late at night also with no issues. I'm approved and get to request my first payment Wednesday.
I submitted my claim online late at night on the 8th. The following day I received an email stating that my claim was successfully submitted and to look for correspondence shortly. I didn't have any issues.
