People are getting laid off from NB that are currently furloughed. I was one of them this past Tuesday along with 2 others in my department.

To the person who doubts that furloughed people won't be released, they already have! I personally know of furloughed individuals at NB that were released.
To the Previous poster, literally no one in corporate is essential. This company would work completely normal if almost all of those people were gone. All we need is a few VPs to oversee and a few regional directors to work as the leads. All the work done in corporate can be completed in the field and in mfg sites.
I highly doubt anyone on furlough is being cut. They are going to cut the service and field employees first because they are less essential.
Yes, furloughed people are being released at Northbelt. This is why that e-mail went out related to making sure your alternate contact information was updated in ESS so they could contact you if you were being released on your week off.
I’m hearing more people from Duncan, received their phone call yesterday. Those that did receive the call, your suffering is done and life moves on.

It’s the beginning of the pay period and the earnings report is next week. I would expect layoffs all this week.
They told us they were done for now, SURELY management wouldn't lie to us....right?

Yes this could be a brutal week, the last week before earnings report, I figure we at DMC gonna get slaughtered soon, no way to escape it.
