Have you all see that there has been over 1M lay-off / furlough’s in retail ??? Would you rather Lowe’s just cut us all loose ? Fired everyone ? Furloughed everyone ? That is the only choice in retail right now, companies that have closed and furloughed everyone vs companies that have tried to make the best of it. I have friends at Lowe’s Depot Supermarkets and guess what , nobody is perfect. There are things that can be better, but people on here are so nasty and have so many conspiracy stories it’s just crazy. My guess is angry before all this and will be angry after. Probably because they never got promoted because of their nasty attitude. Just sad.

Lowe's is that one really unruly kid at the playground. The real problem is the government not spanking said child.
Well their is two camps here. Their is the camp of people who may be envy of those getting to stay home and they may want to get paid for doing nothing. Then you have the camp who may be unhappy with the way Lowe's has gone about this whole thing. Lowe's is an essential store to be open for customers who have things go wrong in their home that may need to be tended too. That said I think it is completely irresponsible for Lowe's to be running a Spring Black Friday add during a pandemic bringing huge crowds during a pandemic putting people's lives at risk. Also why do people need to bring their whole family to the store. Limit customers to one per household.
