Why buy a decom company when Wall Street says you need to restructure. They’re basically saying you’re heading for bankruptcy.

So now I know your pricing. In fact we all know your pricing now.

So the future is in shutting down platforms and wells permanently? Yep, that sounds like a healthy trend for a service company. When you’re only work is in effect putting you out of work over the long term, you are screwed.

My pay cheque is going in very week and a rather nice one it is too.

I managed to get out of the drilling group and into Decom where the pay is better. That’s where the future is now in Aberdeen

You people in baker aberdeen know what you’re doing? You lost all your drilling work due to management incompetence and now think you bought a decommissioning company. No one knows about this except you clowns.

Yes, it is so very important to stay positive while the BH ship sinks and the “no vacancy” signs flash over the lifeboats. All is well!

Aberdeen Baker management are to be recognised for their business innovation in Decom by the P&J innovators of the year program

They have done a great job and now we can reap the rewards once the Covid thing passes which will be very soon

The European capital of energy will become very very busy with Decomming all those old assets and Baker will be at the forefront of the business

And then we also have the offshore wind business where more acquisitions are underway. Watch closely for more news on this coming soon.

The future is very bright in the Granite City of glam, style and success.

Only 45 million for 175 wells? Is it even possible to turn a profit at that?

The problem with Baker is not overcharging. The problem with the entire services industry is undercharging. But hey Weatherford needs to make some sort of revenue.

Does aberdeen office understand what buying a company entails? It’s not a lot like painting and chipping rust more like buying a pie and chips and beans

Nothing on the news baker bought Ardyne. So, either didn’t happen; no one cares what baker are doing; nobody interested in this dum iron acquisition

Ge even wanted rid of Baker thats how bad a reputation Baker has these days .
Ardyne is a very successful company with loads of experience and work everything that Baker is missing.
Just accept you work for the bottom of the barrel like I have our office is a joke , most staff are just ridiculous. It's a embarrassment to even say you work for them these days.

Problem with Baker is they over charge everything as no staff or experience left to win jobs so left with the sc-aps no one wants .
Ardyne is full of experienced old school boys.
Alot of very experienced ex Baker employees left to join this company leaving us with graduates and trainees and we wonder why companies like this then get all the work.
This is not the time to be losing out on 175 wells with extensions.
