Does anyone know what the new pay grades are and how they are based on what positions?

Actually the truth is all pay grades increased this year including the caps. 100% the truth. Sorry those that have the wrong facts.
I was told that they lowered the ceiling on all pay grades making it much easier to max out. I’m a CSA 4 and haven’t seen a raise in about 3 years. I consistently beat one of two specialists in my department. I’m within a few hundred of the top producer in my department every month. I think Lowe’s likes things they way that they are; they have a top producer in a CSA 4 while the non producer specialist wanders the store claiming to get leads and credit card apps.
Hourly are now in pay grades based on jobs. Hourly jobs that were once maxed out are now eligible for biyearly raises until that position reaches the new max out. I do not know which jobs are what grades or how much they now offer
They have a pay raise only with people who have an I.Q. in the double digits, which is 99.999% of the executive staff.
First I will ask what new pay grades? I am not aware of any new pay grades. Lowe’s did quietly compress the pay grade bands when they introduced the “new and improved” two raises a year. The two raises a year are not as good as one raise a year. Do the math, Lowe’s saves half your raise for half a year so it really adds up for them. But that is a subject for another post.
There are 4 csa levels; csa 1, 2, 3, 4. At one time I was told that csa 1 was seasonal, csa 2 was permanent part time, CSU 3 was newly hired full time and CSU 4 was full time with longevity in the position. There was a CSA 5 position but that was for the department managers for a year until the left or took another, lesser, position with Lowe’s.
After the CSA positions there are specialists who are supposed to have more knowledge about the products they sell as well as measured goals for sales, leads, credit cards, LPP’s, and attending boring meetings every Tuesday afternoon. Then there are the various levels of management.
Within each level there are “pay bands” or ranges, these are a closely guarded secret. I understand that the top end of these bands has been compressed or lowered so that it is easier to max in position (no more raises for you). This was quietly done when the two raises are (not really) better than one were introduced.
This is Lowe’s and expect things not to be as expected; you would think that someone with longevity at Lowe’s and in the department and no write ups or attendance issues would be making more than a fcuk up who has attendance issues and was moved from one department to another because of behavioral issue but this is not the case at my store. The reward for hard work is more hard work. If you are lazy you are allowed to continue to be lazy.
They will only hire blacks for $7.25 an hour and free fried chicken
