This firm deserves to be named and shamed for the treatment of its attorneys and support staff during the slowdown of work and pandemic outbreak. It is resorting to the most disgusting behavior to get rid of the people it hired. This firm’s greed knows of no limits! To avoid bad press it is now resorting to stealth layoffs. So much for all the press releases of how much money everyone is making!

If anyone needed any “evidence” of the abuse inflicted on its attorneys and support staff during the pandemic, see the latest published by one of its partners as reported on Law Fuel and other legal blogs where he hurls abuse to associates:
Kirkland’s ‘Emotionally Deficient’ Gravy Train Email Scores a Sour Bullseye With Expendable Lawyers

THIS BEHAVIOR IS PRESENT IN ALL OF THIS FIRM’S OFFICES AND IS EXERTED BY EQUITY PARTNERS AND MANAGEMENT IN COLLUSION WITH SALARIED PARTNERS AND HR WHO FOLLOW SUIT.
THIS FIRM = STEALTH LAYOFFS IN ALL OFFICES
Kirkland is so desperate to keep its layoffs under wraps that it appears to be contacting Legal Blogs and other sites requesting that they remove several comments from their website and beneath their stories in order to stop attorneys and others from reporting the issue.
This is very serious given the difficulty writers and journalists face when trying to report stealth layoffs, such as the threat of law suits, as they are so hard to prove. Victims of stealth layoffs often rely on open channels of communication, such as comments boards, to alert others about what’s going on at their firm. This is clearly proving to be another obstacle to those trying to expose what’s going on.
Anyone wondering why this firm has made no announcement about protecting its employees?! This firm is one gigantic PR machine in the “good” times, yet has nothing to say about how many people are being let go in mysterious circumstances!
This firm needs to be remembered as one of those firms that has laid off people due to the Coronavirus! If you ever have to make a career decision about whether or not to join this firm only join if you are truly desperate and no other firm is willing to take you on! It is just one huge PR machine and an utter disgrace.
You mean to tell me that a law firm is a bad actor? Shocking!
