I received my $1,200 stimulus on Monday, 04/13/20 directly deposited into the checking account I used to receive my 2019 federal tax refund this year.
I'm from Ohio and mine was direct deposited on my Netspend card about 9:30pm on Easter Sunday. My sister got hers the Friday evening before, and she has a Chime card.
Some people received theirs on Friday. I read only about 10k people though.
Not sure where you get your news but it doesn’t seem like a good source. It will be another week or two until Stimulus is sent out.
