I wonder when we will begin to recieve Cobra paperwork for our insurance?

If you are furloughed and Macy's is paying the entire cost of your medical insurance right now, WHY would you go and get more insurance? You don't need COBRA or another policy from anywhere else unless or until you are separated and no longer employed by Macy's! Kick the can down the road for now and use those benefits that are yours and being paid for!

If you were laid off from the February bloodbath, you would already have it.
If you are talking about the furlough right now, the company is still paying or benefits, you are still employed but not working or getting paid, and there's no need for cobra.
I don't know why cobra still exists. The expense is outrageous. Just go to your state's exchange.
Its to expensive.
