Is the shareholder meeting really canceled?

Chesapeake is cancelled. Did you miss the memo? It was sent out when they paid top dollar and diluted everyone for Wildhorse then oil went to sheet.
Everyone still working there is eventually unemployed and every investor is eventually not an investor anymore. L O L
Split the stock or don’t, whatever. The SP now is essentially zero. The only thing splitting the stock will do is decrease market cap.
Public companies don’t exist for the shareholder anymore. Chesapeake is not unique in not giving a F about you or the employees.
They are, however, under a tremendous amount of debt. Impressive debt. Like, wow debt. And management, exorbitant compensation aside, is quite bad. Like, wow bad. Oh yeah, and they make much more than their respective parallels at other similar companies. How smart are they, and how dumb are you? Quite smart. Quite dumb.
If and whenever it takes place it will be a nonevent
