Thread regarding Dean Foods Co. layoffs

Good luck UNIONS. HA!!!!

You guys beating your chest like you hold all the cards in a stacked deck. Well guess what??? Farmers already dumping milk and cheese is failing as well.

All DFA has to do now is sell your plant to developers for a hell of a lot more than the $9 million dollars they purchased each plant for.

Then you will be kicked to the curb for those who don’t like DFA’s take it or leave it deal.

Technically the DFA deal is not a done deal. It's contingent on DFA not being required to pay into any multi-employer pension plans. But Dean Foods already has court approval to just totally void the CBAs if anything gets voted down. And that's just what Dean Foods will do if anything gets voted down.
It's like the vote on severance benefits when a plant shuts down. Options are except the deal or get nothing, so no real options and it's just a show vote.

I figured the Teamsters would be dead in their tracks when it comes to any negotiations due to T-shirt printers not being essential businesses. I mean how can you expect unity if you're not wearing a T-shirt with a semi-threatening slogan on it.
