“You people are whining”, I think we are losing customers because we closed most of our offices and fired the local sales reps. Also, when we go head to head against Ricoh dealers, the dealers have the advantage. It also doesn’t help that billing problems are darn near impossible to rectify and many angry customers have left for this reason. I don’t disagree that there are techs out there not doing their jobs, but the problem is much more complicated than techs not replacing a web or cleaning optics. Upper management gets a big piece of the blame for questionable decisions over the years. Spending billions acquiring failing companies instead of organic growth just to gain mif. We’ve lost a huge number of those customers that we bought. If we had let our competitors buy these failing companies we would have watched them get bloated and fail and then picked up their dissatisfied customers for free. Use your furlough time wisely. Educate yourselves and see what opportunities are out there.

"You people are whining", is this one of our fabulous field services v.p.'s ( maybe D.P.)??? How many man-hours were spent on business continuity plans and yet the best Ricoh could come up with were some c-appy cloth masks and bandanas! You should be VERY ashamed!

Dear, "you people are whining and not focusing on the problem..." - recent hire or golden parachute?

Thumbs down because you people are whining and not focusing on the problem: customer satisfaction. Poor Service has cost Ricoh dearly with customer churn.

Here it is Monday and no announcement of additional furloughs. Is this something going to be announced later today? If it’s coming just bring it on.

This doesn't surprise me at all. With how few calls come in, I felt it was going to happen. I wonder if 4 weeks total will be enough. I just hope to get unemployment to at least soften the sting some. I can't wait till this is all over so I can find something else to do. Tired of being on a sinking ship.
