So agree. I went back after a back injury and had to beg for MY money and buy benefits. So wrong!

I know, I work for them. Even though the CEO said we could work from home, the CNO said no. That we wouldn't be productive at home. Eventhough we've been set up to work from home for years. In my office I volunteered to be off for a month because I was told we would be furloughed. Well that did not happen. Once I was off, they parsed out my duties out to other coworkers. All the while, I'm sitting at home, slowly being replaced, living off my PTO, and wondering how I'm going to pay for health insurance. The only option I'm being offered is to work doing bedside care again. I came to work at their office because I physically could not work bedside anymore. Additionally, I sustained a back injury about 3 weeks ago. I can't go to physical therapy because all the offices are closed. So I'm stuck. The best option for me is to apply to disability. Especially because my job description changed. But the decent thing for Tenet to do is grant me furlough. I'm single and a recent resident to a new state with no family or friends. This is a terrible way to treat a healthcare provider.
