What a joke announcement about limiting customers to 5 per 1000 sq ft. So the average supercenter is 150,000 sq ft or greater. The number would be max 750, and for 200,000 sq ft large supercenters it would be 1000. The local store neat me has a line of carts in the middle of the grocery entrance to separate people going in and out and that is the only entrance/exit they are using.

I am greatful to have a job but they have to protect us better not just for are self but for my family and my kids I don’t want to bring that home I’m ok with myself getting get but not my kids we can’t just resign I pray for all who work in essential jobs nurses doctors and first responders who put themselves out on the line cause these customers who come in Walmart don’t respect are space and there disrespectful to us Walmart associates are working hard to keep shelves full but I can tell the only thing I see getting sanitized is carts walmart maintenance is not perfect or properly trained for this.
Be greatful we're considered essential?? LOL good one! Would sure be a shame to sit home safely and collect $970 a week (far more than I make) in unemployment. Oh maybe you didn't hear about the $600/week federal being paid on top of normal benefits?
Two Wal-Mart associates from the same store in Illinois die from covid 19. What safety measures are 100 percent followed to protect their associates? Those rules are supposed to be implemented and followed by the store management team. They should be followed up on to ensure the store manager is got them in place 100%. They can remotely review video.Do the corporate officials that release these safety initiatives really think ALL the store management teams are taking this seriously? I was in a store a few days ago and I was upset and scared for those working there and for myself. There were multiple sick people in the store coughing and shopping with no protective gear and right next to associates stocking who had no masks.. They should take temps of shoppers before allowed in and if coughing not allowed in. I got out quickly and will not be going back.
Actually the company is not doing enough to protect their employees. Aisles should be closed when stocking or stocking should be done overnight without customers in the store. Th 6 ft. distancing should be strictly enforced for employees and customers, traffic flow should be kept moving with no loitering in the aisle. There is alot more safety precautions that could be implemented to hopefully keep everyone safe.
It's a free country, you can resign at any time. Hundreds, if not thousands, would be more than willing to take your place.
Be grateful we're considered essential, and that the company has taken actions to limit the spread.
