I wonder if they will do another round of layoffs like they did earlier in the year. My store in particular only laid off 4 PT and 2 flex.. possibly getting rid of department specific leads or FT seems like a possibility.

Skinnier with about 300 total stores. Less of everyone. Should have BOPS orders done by now in store
Please people let’s not go low 😏
They will replace all associates with Mexicans working for $9 an hour an no bathroom breaks.
Actually, management & leads will be prioritized at re-opening, and then FT over PT colleagues. But there is another component that will factor in heavily-who is available/willing to come back after such a lengthy hiatus. And stores will re-open with decidedly limited staffing on an individual basis as local law allows.
Once you open, be prepared for even smaller staffs. I'd assume the lesser expensive associates would be called back first in non-union stores. Big Ticket will be staffed sparsely, with kiosks used in many stores (as floated a couple of years ago). Any associate making more than minimum should be concerned for their job. Cost cutting is going to be deep and very, very painful.
I think a lot is going to depend of the situation on each state. As someone who lives in New York, I think we’ll probably be a little slower to get up and going again. I’m just hoping this whole thing is over a lot sooner than some are projecting. I miss some of my colleagues and I’m looking forward to seeing them again soon.
Most likely just the skeleton crew with the fulfillment team at first so the store can make money from the online business
