The local news is going on and on about everything Walmart and Target are doing to protect their customers, including the new measures to limit customers in the store. We tried contacting the local news to ask why they are not covering the measures we are taking, just out of curiosity. When we finally got through to a live person, their response was that “Lowe’s efforts are too pathetic to report.”.

Of course the corporate media is going to focus on retailers making an effort and ignore those who are failing. They are hand in hand when it comes to giving a sh– about us.
To be a SM at Lowe’s you have to be an amoral narcissist. The biggest requirement is you have to have a one word vocabulary for any orders coming from corporate, “YES”
walmart 5 customers per 1000 square feet. if you do the math with the average store being over 100,000 square foot and some even up to 200,000 sq. ft. youll realize it sounds good as a media talking point but it actually isnt a limit at all as most stores are unlikely to ever even hit that number.
theyre all greedy corporations is my point. they all are using the PR teams to make the public think theyre doing their part so you continue to come into their stores and spend spend spend.....

furthermore the drumbeat that "customers wont forget this" ....uuuh these the same customers that get their pants in a wad all the time and say theyll never shop at X again....only to be seen a day later....are these the same customers that are boosting sales at all these retailers by 20%! maybe home depot ran the numbers and came to realize if they ran a sale or didnt theyll still make the same money due to the publics panic buying! home depots margins right now will be way higher than lowes.....in all reality theyre running a strategic game just like lowes.
HD throwing more money at their workers dont necessarily mean they care more....what marvin is doing to lowes now, HD was doing years ago. HD knows with unemployment adding 600 additional federal that they have to entice people to come work at HD....and furthermore not go on leave. the double time pay, to me, is an obvious sign that theyre terrified what will happen if they cant keep employees in the building.
the corporate class doesnt care about any of us.....
As long as we smell like a swimming pool my managers are happy and we have a clean safe store!
