I heard from HR they will cancel the bonus.

Yes, enjoy your bonus, you will soon be laid off. The CEO and CFO have lied about cost savings and about movies saving Mattel. Consider yourself lucky if you get laid off, the company will soon need to file for bankruptcy, so get any severance you can get before that happens. If you are unlucky enough to continue working at Mattel you will be asked to do the jobs of 3 people with a required reduction of at least 20% of your salary. You will also be reprimanded if you cannot magically deliver the work of 3 people in the same time frame as before. Mattel is swell!
