If our stores are so safe to work in, then why aren’t you in them? Seriously, if all the “safety” measures you’ve implemented are adequate, then prove it by coming into a store. Any store. Even just for a few minutes to say hello. Prove that we are safe!!!! Come on.... you can do it! We care about you as much as you care about us!

Customer wanted 20 bags of mulch loaded in her van. Nope, we said. First of all, mulch is not essential. Secondly, the new loading guidelines limit how employees load for customers. The MOD explained to her that we could only load a 'few' bags in the trunk if she came back in a sedan, or she could rent a load and go truck. Employees can't get their heads into customers' vehicles.
I’m currently cruising through the Caribbean on my private yacht, while I work from home. As many of you know we had to shut down corporate for a while, so we could follow the federal guidelines on social distancing. When this whole thing settles down in a couple months, and I have no risk of infection, I will visit many stores.
With the 5 for 10 mulch sale going on this weekend we need someone out there to load mulch for all the customers with bad backs. In fact we can’t open the garden center at all because we only one person from the department right now. So Marv, Joe, Jenn, Bill, and the rest of the corporate bobble heads can come to my store and help out.
