Only for you chesapeckers.

I was laid off in January of 18. First I wanna say it was one of the best things to happen to me. There is a better life outside of Chk.

Anyway, the private company I work for now is still active. Drilling, completing, and opening up stellar wells in the MidCon.

If you think shale is dead you’re nearsighted from looking through chk colored lenses for to long.

@oze+14ibVU1O please provide evidence of actual return on equity for shale at any point in the past decade.

Not dead. Just not economical into the foreseeable future. Any drilling at all happening right now is purely for cashflow...

Someday, who knows when, shale will be resurrected. Those of us who have been around a while have seen this before, regardless of the virus.

To those of you who have less than 6-8 years of experience... welcome to the OG industry. This is part of it. If you're whining, please find another line of work.
