Bed, Bath & Beyond furloughed majority of staff 4/02/2020,l at 5:30pm, and stated that they would email ALL employees shortly, but as if 4 hours later they have not emailed! Also very sad that executives dropped their salary only 30% while majority of other retailers executives took no salary!

I (quite) bbb after 10 years because they treat the associates like (sh–e). Misspelled purposely, so you could understand it.
30 percent pay cut. Making 1.2 million , how will he survive on 800 thousand plus. I bet he will be able to make his mortgage payment

Bottom line here, just as with everything else that BBB does it was all wrong. From not being up front with employees and telling the media first to how it was done via a phone call or email. Execs only cutting salary by 30% is also awful. Every other company you see doing furloughs the execs cut themselves 50% and some take no salary at all. Even in times like this the greed at the highest levels of BBB knows no boundaries.
Well to who ever wrote you can quit your job and go get unemployment needs to get an education. You can not quite your job and collect unemployment you have to be let go for non theft reasons

You may think running away for responsibilities and quitting jobs when you disagree is the answer...that’s what children do. If everyone quit a job that they got p-ss-d at, unemployment would be much higher than the record 6.6 million it currently is. Get a clue kid, at the end of the day there is the ruling elite and us worker bees. I’ll b–ch if I want to and go punch my card when we’re called back cause at the end of the day I have a family to support... so no, it’s NOT a good time to quit.
They really should have emailed us right away and it shouldn’t have been leaked to the media before we were told very disappointing
