Marv needs to start doing the curbside thing. This is getting out of hand quick. Lives are at risk here.

Here’s what I’m being told, tifwiw—large stakeholders were incredibly disappointed in last yrs 4th qtr performance, add the Coronavirus into the mix and they are livid and demanding an acceptable return on investment. Marvin and joe are both being told to seize on depots weakness now and outflank them by staying open extra long hours and run more promos—whatever it takes to increase shareholder value. Sidewalk sales, clowns/boat shows in the parking lot, ALL employees working Saturdays—-Focus on spring and home improvement projects to generate project sales. Continue to nudge out “old Lowe’s” employees that making more than $15.00/hr and bring in millennials that can live off $10.00/hr because they “are the future.” Don’t be dogmatic with customers about social distancing—-give them whatever help they need and get the sale !!
Is this the same Lowe’s I went to work for 27 years ago?? I don’t think so....
Will Lowe’s follow Home Depot with limiting the amount of customers in their stores and closing their stores at 6:00pm? Maybe if we make it through the horrible ordeal we should go to work for Home Depot
It’s all about the money. Marvin knows if he has to limit the number of customers in a store sales will drop; if he has to close, sales will stop. Marvin and his spin masters will put a positive spin on this. Marvin wants to look like a retail genius when in fact all he is is a thief that steals ideas and methods from his previous employers and competitors.
I don't know why this company does not get it? They are fools for not limiting customers .
"Have a Lowes safe day" really means: "Have fun with that virus, s—er!"
Absolutely since I just read that employees at Charlotte area Lowe’s tested positive for COVID-19. I guess paint, mulch and plants are essential items now. At what cost will Lowe’s continue to have parking lots full of customers shopping in the store?
