Contact a lawyer, could be hostile work environment case.
Managers should stay the hell out of the break room.
Lowe’s HR is a complete joke! District HR lives with a Department Manager at 2282 and the two conspired to fire one of our ASM’s and the store manager. Corporate knows their relationship and have done absolutely nothing! Both are still employed. District HR is still over 2282 where her live in works and is in the position to cost other associates their jobs if the manager or ASM’s try to hold this department manager accountable to do her job!
“Lots of male retail managers are creepy”
Can you prove this or are you just saying this because a “male retail manager” asked you to follow the rules and put away your phone?
Former HR manager... need more information. However, from what I have been told..HR no longer exists at Lowes
Depends on your relationship with the store manager. Is he a creep or a generally nice guy? Is he the type of person to joke to make the work that has to be done less stressful or does he use sarcasm as a threat? Are you an employee that actually works or someone who hangs out in break room for half the shift?
How about you stop playing the victim.
Define “making fun of you.” What exactly did he say?
waste of time
Yep. And call a lawyer.
I actually had a store manager (not from lowes) show up at my house when I called out sick, he rang the doorbell and said he wanted to know if I was O.K. I lived 15 miles from my store so it was not around the corner, I called HR the next day and he was fired later that week, I believe he was a creeper or a prev, I don’t have a clue why he would drive to my house other than to try to get in my house or something, Lots of male retail managers are creepy
Yes, that is harassment take that to HR
