I don’t know about the rest of you, but after this week, there was a serious darkness that descended on our store. That weekend was so out of control, way too many people, everyone being an a–hole to each other, customers almost getting in a fight. It’s just getting worse this week. We have hit a wall. This thing is no longer manageable in any level. We keep this place clean. I’m not a medical professional! We are now the canary in the coal mine. Associates are starting to turn on the company. I heard an associate say that maybe a fire would be the way to go to get the store to shut down. That’s how far Lowes has been pushing people. That’s how far Lowes has been pushing people. That scares me! This company has pushed everyone into a corner, and hosed them with coronavirus, leaving them to die while they run to the bank. But now things have snapped. We have employees crying in the bathroom, employees updating their wills, and total fear in the store of this weekends two-for-one mulch sale. Managers regularly intimidating people telling them they better not be contacting the health department or the news or anybody else. I’m beginning to understand what sent to the slaughter really means. And yes I can quit, but it still isn’t stopping Lowes from spreading this disease in my community, to my friends and family, and my neighbors. I would still be afraid for all the associates I would leave behind. Why is this the only choice that Lowes is giving us? Who made them God?

Needs to go curbside pick up only. No customers in the store, this virus can live for weeks on the products they are coughing on.
Im burning out and I run marathons! We’re making more money than we did last year at this time with a third of the staff out on leave. My friends at the other stores say the same thing. We can’t keep doing this. It’s too much. Plus not having any protection at all no masks no nothing? It’s deplorable. Why are you doing this Marvin?
To the troll,I assume you’re sitting at your computer, stuffing your sad face all day long, not working while the rest of us are out try to keep this country going. So enjoy your trolling because that’s all your life amounts to. Go f— yourself.
Same at my store, we have customers sitting in the lot ordering things online and then coming into the store minutes later and expecting their order to be ready. When it is not they start screaming at the customer service desk people.
We have customers ripping open boxes of freight before we can put it on the shelf. One of our paint associates was stocking the applicators and got called to the paint desk. When he returned an entire shopping cart of boxes had been ripped open and the contents gone through.
We now place cleaning products and toilet paper on its on pallet in the back of receiving when unloading a truck as we have customers watching from the entrance to receiving. We have a chain across the entrance so far none have gone beyond it.
It’s getting bad in the stores.
Quit or get back to work.
