SLC, Billings, and Boise are listed under DFA and Dairygold. Anybody have an idea how that plays out?
It’s 2250.00 per load yes that is way more than 1 driver per load out of a union shop
The last comment isn’t entirely true, with the rising cost of logistics overhead it is often times less expensive to have a third party handle that. There are multiple Deans plants and other large companies that utilize 3PL with some of the lower logistics costs.
Just so everyone knows it cost the company more money to bring an outside carrier in to make deliveries so company drivers are always needed for this company
So many folks on here think they know how to manage this business. Don’t forget Borden went BK too. It’s hard to run a successful business with thin margins and declining demand while paying huge union salaries.
Hayward has been a p–p show for years! Horrific management, horrible plant workers. Our Sacramento depot wasted at least 6-7k a month on dump because management didn’t know how to cut or return product!!!
The Hawaii plants weren't bought by processors either
Best to our brothers at Berkeley Farms. I feel badly for them, but there should be a lot of opportunities at competitors. Let’s hope good things happen to good people.
Prairie Farms Dairy, hope this will be good!
Besides Hayward, which other plants are closing?
Hayward is closing. Developers bought the land.
No one does but it will bring business back into the company and they will sell milk not make rules.the cba will get worked out
I REALLY don't want to work for DFA.....
