The average Macy’s associate makes about $14,000 per year (well below the poverty line) in 2019. Jeffrey Ginnette made over $12.7 million in 2019. this is why Macy’s is struggling to survive. Oh he’s giving up his salary during the crisis, oh well, he will only make $10 million this year.

The CEO should make at most $1 million, but not $10 or 12 million. Geez...

There's making different wages and then there's criminal disparities. Nothing on earth justifies making ten million when others get evicted and their children go to bed hungry. And that isn't an exaggeration.
What do you expect all people to make the same salary? or hourly wage?
What have they taught in college, high school? Economics is a great class to take, better yet the school of life's hard knocks teaches very well.
If you want it you can achieve it in this country. So many successful people have risen out of the ashes of poverty and have done very well to help others.
While I may not agree with the amount the ceos make I will not begrudge them. I make my own way, forge my own future and get ahead every day,.

He has made more money in this lifetime than he needs in one hundred lifetimes, yet his workers can't pay their bills and many will be out of a job (and many more lose their jobs year after year). Stomach turning.
