Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

New confirmed employee cases coming soon

I just heard that multiple stores employees are at risk due to someone in the store testing positive. Anyone else hear about this in their area?

If you start posting store numbers on here they will remove the post. I can tell you that approximately 40 people in my store (central FL area) are currently out on approved leave. Some of them are due to being high risk, some are self quarantining due to exposure and others out of fear of bringing it home and spreading it to a high risk loved one. The covid-19 growth curves in the USA are showing no signs of flattening out so it is only going to get worse. Lowe's has been slow to implement safeguards at my store but at the end of the day you can only control yourself. Fear Lowe's is still fostering an environment that is conducive of customer to customer transmission and as long as the stores are over run with customers it can't be prevented.

Heard from who? Your friend in the break room? Unless you can attribute where you got this information from it's fake news.
