Grow up people ...you know that the majority of senior leaders and leaders were also furloughed at all the parks ? Also the majority of the corporate office ? So don’t sit there and say they had any input in this decision and that they are the cause of all your woes ...maybe go and get a degree and find yourself a career so you don’t have to depend on a job that pays $7 an hour and is intended for high school kids
Of course none of the leaders has made a single sacrifice for their people. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT HOURLY AMBASSADORS AND EVERY DECISION THEY'VE MADE HAS BEEN WITH THE INTENTION TO RUN PEOPLE OFF.
Besides, the execs needed spending money in addition to their per diem for their trip to Dubai.
For some of us, jokes are all we have at the moment.
And I dont want to hear whining about any executive who may not be making any income right now when I know for sure they already better off than us lowly hourly peons.
Kinda like when a certain person tried to say how his family was going to be effected by the change in benefits when you know what? He made over 250k easy. Nobody was gonna buy that c-ap.
It sounds like you’re still getting paid, so why are you allowed to say who can make jokes or not?
You do make a good point though, The company could shed a few non essential board members to free up some $$$ if that’s what you mean. Maybe they should start by getting rid of a former activist investor turned despot.
Let's all take this seriously. Many people are not taking home any income. I think it's bad form to joke about anything here. I know many 'executives' who are no longer getting a paycheck or benefits.
There is only one area I can criticize the companies actions when it comes to essential staff. At this point no contactors/consultants should be considered essential.
I pray for those who are without pay. We will all survive this. It will make us all stronger individuals.
