Thread regarding Sears layoffs

So I am confused

So are the Store Closing for good on April 7th or is it just certain parts of the store until the virus is contained?

Seems like B.S. to me...Target, Walmart, and Costco are all open and able to sell whatever merchandise they want. Looks like a way of cutting payroll before liquidation

My store announced today that only tools and appliances will remain open due to a "shelter in place," which goes into effect tomorrow. Softlines and lawn and garden were put on leave. I know of no concrete plans to close stores permanently, but there was a sign released to stores that the store was temporarily closed due to the virus, but I guess that was an accident.
