We were told by our DM, if there is another quarantine period if cases increases again, that we will not close for any reason. With the products we carry, we will be considered essential and will not close any of the WM, BBB, BBBY, Harmon or CTS stores.

Your DM said your store would not close for "any reason" ? I find it VERY hard to believe he/she said this. Sounds like you are trying to stir the trouble part or misunderstood.
Maybe in your state they think they are essential but not in this state lol snacks and sauce dont make a place food essential a food essential place accept food stamps and we do not because we are not essential and never will be, target and walmart have a full line grocery store in them thats y thet are essential , whats essential to bbb is money not people
He did tell me that directly as well as other employees. I’m not trying to get people riled up either. He said because we sell food and health and beauty. We are opening this week and they are already extending our store hours because they think it will be so busy. If I’ve learned anything this week by us going back, it’s that they only care about the money and not their employees. I knew it already but they have reinforced this week because of multiple comments like this from our DM.

Uh huh, sure. Did your DM actually say that or are you trying to get people riled up? Pretty sure the latter. Some Governors don't want to let retail open now, they sure as h*ll wont let BBB, WM or CTS stay open if there is another quarantine.

patio furniture towels and non essential household tems and nicknacks are not essential and the little bit of cleaning, SNACKS and health and beauty in the stores can be bought at real essential places like a pharmacy or grocery store, they need to read the rules state by state cause having snacks in a store doesnt deem a business essential lol SMH
they wont have a choice cause they r not essential businesses and that just shows you money is more important than employees lives
