Are you reading Jeff's Tuesday updates on insite? They just extended paying benefits until the end of June with no plans to bring people back yet except for those necessary due to store openings. Just chill out!
You getting the enhanced unemployment? Your benefits will now be paid by Macys through the end of June if needed. Do what the other poster said, and in the meantime take a deep breath and if it's meant for you to go back, you will, eventually. If not, you have prepared yourself for a new future.
Don’t lose hope! But plan and prepare as if your job is not coming back just in case. Update your resume, start applying. It’s tough out there, but plenty of companies are hiring. With business where it is their will be staffing cuts across the company, from store associates all the way up to corporate staff. That doesn’t mean you will be one of them but it’s important for you and your family to prepare.
