Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Headcuts / Layoffs Coming Soon

PepsiCo has no choice but to restructure due to the COVID-19 crisis. I expect announcements will be made in the next two weeks.

@5smk+14WzC99n Agreed. The only thing I can say is they have not fully executed the contract with TCS (TATA). That is the only thing that will drive the further reduction in IT headcount. The virus may have delayed it but just like the contracts with HCL, BT and Cognizant it all has to do with fulfilling the contract or suffer penalties.

Sounds like speculation to me. Is the original post just a pot being stirred or does someone have anything factual about a lay-off? We have the “Non working Bama” post and the “PepsiCo has no soul” post. How about something factual rather that half baked speculation!!!!

It’s nauseating how PepsiCo acts like the Mother Theresa of the Corporate world with all their supposed caring and compassion

Leadership just announced that all headquarter locations will remain closed til September 8 to protect the executives. Meanwhile they are thankful for all is front line employees that continue to risk our safety

Looks like Pepsi is dropping lots of cash and flooding social media with examples of how compassionate they are. Behind the scenes it’s a horror show.

Stfu - this thing is run by the opposite of boys and girls. It’s run by toddler campus hires who can’t think. My manetence stuperviosr today told me to make sure my gloves had hand sanitizer when I clean the bottle DePaul because he saw me touch my glove with my hand. Keep in mind the machine he’s talking about is a 100yr off bottler with cobwebs on it and I’m the only one who services it. I asked this dipstick if they taught him that at management skool and he said I’m rude

Pepsi will never do things rationally. Pepsi is a political urinal. Restructuring and outsourcing has been failing for 6 years now. The pandemic is now the excuse to blame something other than poor leadership. The place is still run by boys and girls clubs. There is no criteria for layoffs. COVID 19 is the perfect excuse to slash another wave of older and more seasoned employees.
