Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Where Halliburton cut employees...

Halliburton cut the largest number of workers from its headquarters in Houston (1000) and facilities in Duncan, Oklahoma (590) and San Antonio (384), according to a company statement and notices submitted under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.

Halliburton also cut 233 workers from a facility it plans to close in Kilgore, Texas, which has been operating for decades. The company is moving those operations outside Texas.

If Trump really wants to make America Great Again as promised in 2016 and reduce unemployment and *USA deficit that is getting out of hand since he took office; The millions of Manufacturing, Technological, Pharmaceutical, etc. jobs that were performed by American citizens and outsourced by American companies to China, India, Vietnam, etc. since the 70’s should be return to the USA ASAP.

Republican “bad hombres” are turning against Trump and Trumpism.

The rest of Halliburton IT will be outsourced to Accenture by the end of 3rd quarter or 4th quarter of this year. They have been doing it in phases not to break IT all at once.

At Landmark they cut many of the senior software developers, most over 50, to continue the move of those operations overseas. I wonder if Halliburton is taking any aid from the government during these times
