They can’t pay insurance all leads n full time and HR layed off.
Who needs leads or assist managers, anyway. They just work in back room and drink coggee
They fired our second in command for wanting to furlough. Poor soul is now working menial retail job nearby for 1/2 pay.
I heard they are closing the Cabela’s in Centerville?
Would like to know who these rumor mongers get their information? Don’t we already have enough to deal with!
So whomever started this rumor, It’s that just rumor stirring up negativity. Go find another job and do something with your life. If your information came from base camp we would be seeing it happen. All companies are struggling to get back on their feet.
They need to cut at Corp not at the stores. How many VPs, Senior VPs, Directors, Senior Managers do we need? The store employees bring in the customers and the revenue!
We were open the whole time, operating with limited or no coverage at all. I just can't imagine how our store would even function if the layoff were coming. Our employees here are key personnel and wear many hats already. We are working with a skeleton crew as it is. There might be 3 or 4 part timers to even call back. Who knows if they will even come back.
Maybe it's time to look at the under-performing stores and the stores in close proximity of one another that are competing against one another and make cuts there. I just don't see it here.
My store HR manager has been calling all full time outfitters and letting them know the plans to reopen in the next few weeks. They are asking us if we still plan on coming back. No rumors of anything in my store.
What about the Event Specialists?
And absolutely nothing from leaders and corporate staff collecting their pay checks while we deal with the risks and with demanding customers. This new leadership team is a joke. How about getting rid of some of them and saving the people that are actually producing and providing customer service. They clearly have no value for any of the front line workers!!
This seems correct. All of the part timers are being called back right now.
We heard they are letting go all FT and leads
Lay offs are coming. Slowly bringing back some part time people from furlough then cutting many full time positions. Nobody is safe this will be managers, team leads, admin, HR and full time associates.
I am a FT employee for almost 20 years and I was just called back to work. We haven’t heard any of these rumors in Ohio!
When is the layoff of FT employees to be announced?
I just heard a confirmation of full time outfitters being layed off to avoid paying insurance.
