Hey fellow AST. What has changed with the reopening of your store? We’re you allowed to bring back your entire team or was it just the ASTS that returned? Did managers return or just some? Has your store begun the lay off process for any of your colleagues?
A lot of colleagues are scared. Some people are willing to come back to work because unemployment hasn’t come through for them. The waiting game is silently tormenting people. I don’t know if it is true but the word is that Macy’s will be waiting till October to do layoffs due to the rules of the government funding. Why should we have to wait. Tell us now so we can move on with our lives.
