If the NB center was closed because the COVID-19, how did they take you the the HR office for kicking out ?

I was laid off while working on a rig. My boss didn’t even know I was on a rig and next shift was starting in 2 hours... so yeah they don’t give a f

Who was offered this option? I sure wasn't. I might have taken it. I was actually willing to stay on 50% pay furlough indefinitely until prices improved.
Certain locations had a severance package due to the WARN Act. We weren’t given an option to keep our job though.
