I am a senior citizen and I am out on leave until whenever this all goes away. It is a part time, get out of the house job for me. Question is should I even consider going back? It sure doesn't seem too good there. My store is raking in the cash with Memorial Day crowds everyday. As far as I know there are no confirmed cases at the store.

No. Marvin will fill in for you. He’s not as important to the company as you are going forward.
High risk is high risk.
- If you feel that your life is not worth living unless you can go to work, then go.
- If you go and end up in the hospital with the virus, will you feel that you made the right decision?
- Remember that the regular flu season is coming up, so chances of heavy duty attack on your immune system will be greater.
- I think we are just now beginning to see the results in all this “essential” shopping. Figure every person you come into contact with (in a confined airspace) probably is infected.
I have the same question every evening but every morning when I hear the birds, see the sunshine, chat with family and friends, I feel the decision to stay away from work, right now, is best.
Ask yourself one question: is there a vaccine yet?
If the answer is no then that's your answer.
If people were smart, including higher ups at Lowe's, you wouldn't have to worry about too much. But they gave away our legit sanitizer and masks and encourage people to shop whether they're going to buy anything or not. Even in states where counting customers is mandatory they aren't keep track. They keep pushing details, leads and credit during a global health crisis. You go back to work you're just as you are at home: on your own. And playing that hand at home makes your odds much, much better than at the store.
Lowe’s continues to operate as usual with its spring Black Friday sales and 4 for 10 mulch and 50% paint rebate. I anticipate that Lowe’s will do something similar for Memorial Day. Let’s not forgot the government stimulus checks. We have people spending their whole check at Lowe’s. People are coming into my store in record numbers. Everyday we have record setting sales.
Just think about the people that maybe covid19 positive and not having any symptoms.. That's what scares me
I feel you’re putting yourself at risk if you return. This is a very contagious disease and the possibility of someone having it is very high. It’s not doing the company justice if you were to pick it up (God forbid)
