Thread regarding Belk layoffs

What are you more worried about?

Being called back into work too soon while the coronavirus is still raging or not being called back at all because the closures lasted too long and the company had to shutter some locations?

I personally can't decide which is worse. I can't afford to lose my job, but my husband is asthmatic and if I bring the virus back home...

This is such a lose-lose situation.

They get a decent amount in unemployment, around $1,000 a week in most states with the extra $600 until the end of July.

I worry more about the people involved who need the work that Belk won't ask to come back.

I'm sure you can find another job, I would worry about going back during the virus, Belk will probably do more mass layoffs anyway, so you may end up going back and then get laid off come August or September
