Starting yesterday, there are layoffs ongoing. Word from above was these changes were in the works before COVID-19, but certainly that affected things as well. Hearing about sales & training so far. Some people with many (20, 15, 20) years were let go. Unknown if this is over or just starting. Unknown terms of severance.

Since Samsung purchased the company (well, really since Dinesh took control way back when), the company has been on a slow and steady decline.
Can't wait to see Samsung spinoff the company, taking the IP it purchased with it, leaving Harman nothing but a fledgling shell of it's former self. Thanks for the severance check a–holes. '

I’m one of the affected. Hope the company burns to the ground.
Looks like the combination of bad leadership along with products ten years out of date have led to more layoffs today. Where great brands go to die!
