Trying to maintain social distancing and steer clear of germs in densely packed open floor plan with co-workers less than 3 feet apart will only continue the spread the coronavirus. What is Administrative Services doing about reconfiguring the current open floor plans? The Marketing department is just one area that has created an unhealthy and unsafe environment for employees. This is absolutely a mental health issue as well as a physical issue that needs attention.

The agile petri dish office configuration was yet another failed decision made by leadership. Will the cost of reconfiguration be deducted from their bonus checks?

You are right. I am sure all the accountants running the Company will be fine continuing to pay thousands of employees to do nothing. Our rates are so low they can afford to go up a lot.

Since all facets of business has dropped off a cliff because of virus and recession/depression there is going to be a need for less employees. Expect furloughs first then layoffs.

Yep, fitting as many people as possible into one open space location won’t be as acceptable as it used to be. It was barely tolerable before this.
the hub concept is not a sustainably design in the covid19 era. the common areas, the elevators, etc, will in no way be osha compliant.
What about the touchscreen time clocks everyone has to touch to clock in and out on? Nasty! Touchscreens vectors of infectious disease.
