They have 17 billion in debt. Your gonna have to get in line to get anything out of if you sue. Get your severance before it’s gone.

Don’t sign and sue. If you haven’t signed, you are able to sue them. Get a good lawyer. Don’t forget to tell them how you never had a break if you didn’t (We never did). Best of luck to you.

So if we didnt sign the severance yet we can still file a law suit? I didnt sign it because of this reason and unemployment was worth more then so will sign severance on the last day.

No law suits. When Heryz laid everyone off they forced employees to sign off to collect their severance package. Deep down in the fine print is you will not pursue legal action.

I doubt it - Hertz has the best lawyers in the business. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I watched A Few Good Men - twice - that makes me better qualified than the Hertz legal team.

My cousin Vinnie says it’s a slam dunk under the WARN act. Company is liable for 60 days back pay and benefits of the laid off employees. But bankruptcy will save Hertz from paying.
