How many of the 23,000 people Belk furloughed will never be called back to work? I've already heard from people who said they were now permanently laid off after originally being furloughed with everybody else. How common occurrence is this? Do we have any idea?

Not a Belk employee - former Enterprise Rent A Car - and was talking to some of my former coworkers who were recently let go. They mostly all started as furloughs, then were changed to permanent layoffs.
Sounds like that is the playbook.
