Which one is it? There is a huge difference between the two.

Mine started with a furlough from 3/30 to 4/30. On 4/22, all of us that were furloughed were told in a webinar meeting that our furlough would be turned into a permanent layoff effective 4/30, with our insurance coverage ending on 4/30 as well. I'm not sure if they are still furloughing or if they are just doing permanent layoffs now.
My brother has not been affected yet, but I was just wondering which one he could be looking at soon.
