What departments effected?
How come we haven’t seen senior leadership take pay cuts to stave off people losing their livelihoods? Instead that CBS Joe I guy gets a huge payout (like Phillipe Dauman before him). It’s outrageous we haven’t seen Bob, Chris and the others take a slash to their overpaid salaries.

What unions, if any are being affected?
Layoffs are happening under the Youth and Entertainment group with no plan in place. SVP’s are clueless or at least pretending to be.
Total numbers game. My department didn't even know I or others were being let go. I'm fairly confident that corporate just decided to axe people based on pay.
Also, WARN was not correct regarding locations. So I'd guess these layoffs were not because the merger and were used as an excuse for a sinking ship company.
I assume LA. hasn’t started started given the time. Anyone hear if they are honoring Union contracts for severance or trying to get out of it using the virus impact?
I was laid off without HR on the call. Due to the volume of the cuts, they will need to follow up with details about severance and whether or not I can retrieve personal items.
