My manager in Texas is being let go tomorrow to make room for 3 demotions above him. He’s the best manager I’ve had I feel so bad for him because they told him last week and are making him work. I’m worried I’m next or at least a pay cut. Maybe I need to look for something else?

Ehhh...not a manager, but just some of us stuck around because we're been doing this for a long time and weren't too excited about starting over somewhere else. And a lot of us weren't hired by Dean Foods to begin with and only became Dean Foods employees when Dean Foods bought the locations where we were working. Is this different? Sure. Acquisition by Dean Foods came as somewhat of a surprise where as Dean Foods going bankrupt didn't.
What location and what is your job?
Gotta cut costs to be profitable. Demotions and pay cuts among salaried staff are inevitable.
