cant help but wonder if they will lay more people off from the pine island plant. i know a few that worked there that got laid off in april.
I am an expat on a L1 visa and my manager said we were safe. They will rather lay off American employees because they get unemployment benefits.
40 % reduction in orders directly translates in 40% reduction in workforce. Stop lying to yourselves pretending they are only weeding out the bad apples. Everybody's fate has already been determined. No matter how hard you work or who's a– you kiss. If you made the list, you made the list. Of course they want to get what little bit of orders they got, done before customers cancel. The faster you complete it, the faster you are out.
Sadly it won't be just Navigation. Every location in all parts of the world will see headcount reductions. At the end of the day, it's just a numbers game. Those deemed too expensive at this time will be sacrificed. Alas, it's not the same company anymore. Too many GE people took over the running of the company and the old BHI ways are but a distant memory consigned to history.
They’re closing the navigation plant is why.....
That Ai stuff is a lie managers weed out the problem ones first .then after first or second wave its just a numbers game
The layoffs (who and where) are decided by artificial intelligence.
Heard C3ai and Business Transformation are hiring all deplorables.
Why six-week WARN notices for corporate? Don’t recall hearing of the same courtesy extended to field office personnel. Just more proof that Baker doesn’t give two squirts about the field employee who actually generates revenue. Give them exemptions and then lay them off without notice. F&!#ers.
What offices/plants?
The new org charts are showing massive layoffs but nobody knows who or how or when yet
