Walmart wants customers to think that they are keeping their associates safe through this virus. Making us take our temps every morning and wear masks, yet they allow vendors and customers to enter the store without masks or taking temps. If we are forced to wear masks and take our temps, shouldn't anyone coming in here have to follow those rules. I have seen some stores such as Smart & Final enforce the mask and gloves for customers to enter. Why is Walmart allowing any grungy, nasty person to come in and browse around because they have nothing else to do. Isn't that defeating the purpose of the masks?

they call us essential workers I am being to think they meant expendable. they mask they give us are very cheap and the ear loops fall off and come apart. the gloves are just as bad , I work shoes and if I wore the gloves they provide I would probably go through a 100 pairs on a good day of processing.this covid-19 thing is really stressing me because in the back of my mind while I pick up the hundreds and hundreds of shoes the wonderful customers throw down I wonder if I am going to take this disease home to my family or if I may get it, I practically bathe in hand sanitizer, and yeah I would sue if I did !!! the management are not following the guidelines amongst themselves, associates or customers and the manager is the worse. he is on vacation came in today t-shirt shorts and no mask was helping a customer in furniture I saw that dude cough all over the place. seen him the other morning with a vendor not either one them wearing a mask face to face , a little bit later a couple walks by him they are wearing their masks the lady speaks to him and he tells them to get six feet apart . to be honest , I don't like this guy I view him as a lair and a arrogant bully a straight up psychopath and I have been gaslighted by him and his management team. 20 years on june 9th I don't know how I have stuck this long. it is true the type of person your manager is really effects the morale and health of the store and our store has been sick for some time.
They made a commercial where everybody was singing "Lean on Me" to let everyone in America know how well we are treated by the company. Isn't that enough?
The main purpose for all of this is liability. For Corporate , the customers are not the issue – it's the employees and their families that will jump on board and sue them for their negligence during this time – that, and sweeping any active case of Covid 19 under the carpet and forcing employees to continue to work without being transparent to what was happening in their stores. It is not common knowledge – but Walmart has lost 18 employees to the virus . . . Shame on these greedy gluts!
Somehow some way walmart will be the target of a class action in the future due to the way associate were treated, discarded, overlooked, and definitely under appreciated during the covid19 nightmare. Good to know all upper management was safely tucked in their homes cashing in on profits
