I have been seeing news that many coca cola distributors across the US have been laying off food service sales people. Is Pepsi soon to follow cokes lead?

With the 8 percent organic revenue growth everyone is crowing about why would they lay off people?
I work for an independent Pepsi bottler in the foodservice department and haven’t heard anything regarding layoffs as of yet. The Coke news is very concerning.
PepsiCo is much stronger than Coca Cola. I have worked at both companies. Coca Cola is being run into the ground by bottlers, especially Reyes in California. PepsiCo cares about their employee's, supports them, gives them the tools to do their job and most importantly compensates them much better. Coca Cola... they are full of corruption. They lie, cheat, and steal. They think their "Coke" image will be all they need. NOT anymore.
I recently retired from PepsiCo after many years. No one is buying any of the soft drinks right now. All restaurants are closed for dine in. Take out only. Very few are buying soda and they buy store brands, less money. When I grocery shop I pay attention to the beverage aisle. With the media fear happening now people are only buying food essentials. Our products are on sale too. People are buying them , but not to the magnitude we’ve seen before. I would think layoffs would be imminent. I reduced my stock liability to Pepsi as well, down to 4% and the rest in secure bonds. We will get through this but some states are dragging out this reopening. Hope my former colleagues all stay safe. Always have a plan for the worse, but always hope for the best.
Coke always had 3 salespeople to Pepsi’s 1. The pepsi workload is crazy.
How can they not? Right?
