I’m pulled from my department to assist with curbside pickup today. Customer calls the store for their order, another customer calls for their order. I pull both orders and head out to deliver to the vehicles. I put both on the same cart and notice about 30 some people in line. First customer is for 30 pieces of shiplap, as I approach his truck he pops out comes over to me and starts screaming “that’s not my order, that’s not my order!” He’s pointing to the set of attic stairs that is on the bottom of the H cart. When he finally shuts the f— up I tell him I know that is not his order, it’s for another customer who happened to be parked next to the crazy customer.
Once crazy shiplap gets back in his truck and starts to leave he is so impatient that he sc-apes the side of his truck on the tailgate of the second customer. Crazy shiplap jumps out, surveys the damage and starts in on me s time it’s my fault because I couldn’t wait to load the second customer. He pulls back in and goes into the store to make a claim for the damages; he’s driving a Cadillac Escalade while the truck he hit is a Chevy beater.
Crazy customer talks to ASM that doesn’t like me; I never do anything right according to him. If I chose left I should have chosen right. After talking to both customers ASM takes my “statement” and tries to convince me that I am somehow at fault for the actions of an impatient hot headed customer.
I am so done with crazy customers and Lowe’s that if I found a job today I wouldn’t bother with Lowe’s tomorrow.
